The story of my first collection is the story of a journey. The first journey that I took alone, my memories of making my way through Japan, which hold a very special place in my heart... my journey through lands previously uncovered by me in my own country... and the endless internal journey of the self. As all of these paths intertwined in an infinite spiral, the collection Yol was born.

Derin Isle is a living being. A new born baby. My wish for her, on this journey that she has embarked on, is that she become a home, overflowing with the taste of life, freedom, and love, for every soul that she touches.
